Jim joins Todd and talks about the Timberwolves recent 3 game losing streak. They each mean different things because of how they played out. Brian Flores has had several interviews, and not just for head coaching positions.

Jim and JP Cola take a look at the College Football National Championship game.  Jim and JP talked about recent NFL coaching moves including what's at stake in regards of the MN Vikings coaching staff.  They also talked about recent news concerning the Wild and Timberwolves.  

Jim breaks down the playoffs. He doesn't like to talk about the officials but he was not happy with how the interception in overtime for the Broncos to then beat the Bills was handled. He's shocked at the bad quarterback play as a whole this weekend, even Josh Allen and Matthew Stafford struggled. The Wolves are lacking some depth, but Edwards continues to get better.

Jim talks about his column on the Vikings needing former 1st Round Draft picks JJ McCarthy and Jordan Addison to play up to their draft position next year. 7 of 8 teams remaining have QB's taken in the 1st Round, even with Sam Darnold playing for his fifth different team, he was the #3 pick in the draft in his class. Jim isn't too concerned about Anthony Edwards right foot, which will keep him out of the Friday night game vs Houston.

Jim joins Todd and talks about the latest Jordan Addison arrest. What does it mean for the Vikings offseason plans at WR? Does it affect their negotiations with Jaylon Nailor. The NFL coaching dominos have begun to fall with John Harbaugh going to the Giants. A respected ESPN writer doesn't think Brian Flores will get a head coaching job, what does Jim think. Would he leave for a DC position elsewhere.

Jim and Todd talk Gopher men's basketball and both like their style of play. Reports indicate College Football Playoffs are expanding to 16 teams as early as the '26 season, and perhaps 24 teams in the future. Wolves looked terrific in win over hapless Bucks team, playing without Edwards and Gobert. Is Brian Flores gone for sure? Jim admits he read Mike Tomlin wrong.

Jim and Todd recap the opening weekend of the NFL Playoffs. Jim's pick of the Jaguars didn't work out thanks to the play of Bills QB Josh Allen. Although he thinks the tush-push went to far when a lineman carried him for ten yards late in the game. Jim's column says the College Football system now in place isn't fair, but it does open up the playing field for others besides the blue bloods. Indiana, case in point.
