Jim and Todd talk NFL. The Rams are the favorite heading into the season and Jim agrees they have the apparent best team. Is the NFC West better than the North? Will Sam Darnold continue to win at this pace. Ryan Jeffers could get traded by the Twins no matter what they do over the next week. The 3M open could really use Scottie Scheffler as it's champion.

Jim and Todd talk about the Vikings. Jim has an optimistic prediction on the win total and going game-by-game through the schedule. When will the Vikings decide on a starting QB? How good can the NFC North be? Are the Lions flying under the radar. Jim doesn't think LeBron has decided yet where he's going to play, so even though Anthony Edwards said "we're not in his top 3," that doesn't necessarily mean they couldn't still land him.

Jim and Todd talk about the Vikings roster spots that may not be set. Possible late arriving free agents, like Harrison Smith. The Lynx have the best record in ythe WNBA without All-Star Napheesa Collier, who returns tonight from ankle surgery.
