He has worked with major names in the industry like Angela Dunlap Borrows, writer of such plays as Why Do Good Girls Like Bad Boys, If These Hips Could Talk, and her most recent production Gossip, Secrets and Lies; directed by Clifton Powell and starring Lisa Ray, Robin Gibbons and Christopher Williams.  Wanting to challenge himself, Aris ventured into film and became the content producer and talent acquisition manager for Florida Film House, where he’s worked with such noted names as Clifton Powell of OWN network’s Greenleaf, Platinum award winning producer Master P and Romeo Miller, the late Tommy Ford, Omar Epps, and a host of other stars. He has received recognition from the Miami Dade Weed and Seed for his writing and direction of a nonviolence play for the City of Miami. In addition, he’s received recognition from the State of Florida Energy Conservation Department for directing a play as part of an energy conservation initiative.
