Columbus, Ohio based guitarist Zakk Jones is a pre-eminent educator. At Capital University he leads one of the nation's oldest collegiate jazz programs along with the school's big band. In his spare time he hosts the 'Beyond the Frets' podcast.

His guitar trio, which you'll hear here, has been together since 2019 and this performance highlights selections from the group's two 2024 releases entitled 'Why Not?' and 'Tomorrow Comes Early'.
