Summary:

How do we view the cross of Christ in our life? Is there a difference between the cross of Christ in our life and the discipline that the Father puts every son through? Christ was disciplined by the Father through the things that He suffered and then finished the cross once for all and now we too are to have that same discipline and cross experience in our lives as we walk in the steps of our Lord.

How do we view the cross of Christ in our lives?

The cross must be a real and living experience in each believer's life.

The cross is a one time experience, but it is expandable.

There is a discipline that the Father puts each of His sons through to do the will of God.

Our approach to one another is to be connected, to have a greater fellowship, to do the will of God in our lives.

We have claimed the fullness of the cross of Christ in our lives and now we walk in the steps of our Lord as our Father disciplines and scourges every son whom He receives.

Quotes:

You can look at the cross and say, oh, man, I'm dying. Or you can take a look at the cross and say, I'm coming alive because of the cross.

It has to be an experience, a real living experience that no one can talk you out of. It's not a doctrine.

Do you want something that you can never lose? We can have an altar call right now. And as you walk down that aisle, and you accept salvation, walk down that aisle and say, Lord, I accept your cross...

I think after the cross, there comes a discipline, in our own spirit, to do the will of God.

We're still in need of a greater revelation of it is finished. Are we walking in what's been finished? Are we becoming fully what's been finished? Do we realize how far down the road we are?

Take Away:

Today the sons whom God is raising up have experienced the cross of Christ in their life. As they walk on in their love relationship with the Father, they too experience the Father's discipline as the cross of Christ keeps expanding in their life.

Summary:

As we focus on the Lord individually, and become one with Him, we enter into a oneness with our brother and sister in Christ. Our loving relationship with Him opens the door for us to know and love one another. As we become those new creatures that He is creating, we are able to fulfill the great commandment to love the Lord our God with everything within us and to love our brother as our self.

The beginning of oneness starts with our individual relationship and oneness with the Lord.

The true basis of knowing one another is first our knowing Him and having a relationship with Him.

When we see things differently, that is not necessarily the breaking of oneness. It may be just the diversity of Christ's body.

As we become those new creatures in Christ, we enter into this oneness with the Lord and one another.

There is no division or competition in Christ. The answer to every disagreement is what did Christ say?

As we fulfill the great commandment to love the Lord our God and to love one another, we find that in that relationship of oneness with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit we are also one with our brother.

As we are one in the Lord we begin to melt together and find that we are His Body functioning together.

When you think differently, or you move differently, that's called diversity.

Oneness is something that you walk into. It's an atmosphere that is already created.

The truth is, if you're open to the Lord, you're reaching into Him to be one with Him, to love Him to worship Him, then those that are doing the same thing - you're gonna gravitate together.

That new creature is what we're being created to, that's where we find our oneness - that you're neither Jew nor Greek, male nor female, bond or free.

Each one of us has a very unique gift that is totally unique to us. And what oneness does is oneness brings those unique gifts together into a total truth, that there is not one part of the body can survive without the other.

So you might say, we're not necessarily diversified. We are now a body of parts that make the one work. It's one body functioning together.

The Great Commandment is like the banner over oneness.

Take Away:

Our oneness together begins first with our oneness and relationship that we have individually with the Lord. Oneness is not unity, but a coming together as His diverse many-membered Body functioning as one in Him. As each of us enter into this deep love relationship and oneness with the Lord, we all find that we are fulfilling the great commandment to love the Lord our God with all our heart and one another as our self.

Summary:

The sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath. God gave it to us to help us enter into His presence. The Lord is wooing us and saying come into My presence and wait upon Me and be at rest.

The Lord is opening up the sabbath rest to His people.

The Lord is saying, “come into My presence and worship and rest.

The sabbath already exist and we should simply enter into it.

The Holy Spirit is leading us into this rest. It is a overflow of His Spirit in us.

This is all about our relationship with the Father.

The sabbath rest in not a day, but a new age of the kingdom.

God gave it to us to be a blessing to help us enter into His presence, to lay aside every other thing, be in His presence in worship, and wait to on Him and know Him.

This has to be something that comes from your heart - and it's something that the Holy Spirit works in you...

We should let the Sabbath keep us instead of us keep the Sabbath. The Sabbath already exists. If we're looking to enter into something that already exist, that changes our approaches to it.

The Sabbath rest has to do with a greater flow of the Holy Spirit; in us and through us.

...if it's His spirit, it's going to automatically putting us in a place of peace and rest If that's what He's doing...

It all comes out of a relationship with the Lord, You have to have that time of coming into His presence and just drawing on Him.

The Sabbath is an age. It's the Age of the Kingdom.

Take Away:

The sabbath is an age, it's the age of the Kingdom. It is not just a day, its everyday that we can enter into His rest. The old age of human striving and futility is melting away as we are filled with His Spirit. In this new day we find that we don't keep the sabbath, we let the sabbath keep us.

Summary:

Hunger drives us into all things in God. Our purpose to be alive is this cry of know Him. Doctrines, teachings and knowing about God falls short in the deep anguish of heart in each true believer. This podcast expresses the deep wrestling and travail of heart in His sons to know Him personally today. This drive in us is what it takes to please Him.

There is a deep cry in the Father's sons to know Him personally.

Knowing about Him or hearing about other's relationship with the Father will never be enough for His sons.

Individually we wrestle and travail with God to know Him.

God is increasing our capacity to know Him in a greater way.

We go through times of everything drying up. Things that worked before don't work now because He is drawing us into a deeper relationship with Him.

There is a paradox in this hunger after Him. You must also be at peace, knowing what He has already created in you and that He will finish His work.

Will we stop in our pursuit after God?

God could have abandoned us, but He has not. He put this unceasing cry to know Him in our hearts and we thank Him and Worship Him for this.

There is no other purpose for me to be alive than to have this drive in my heart. Because there's only one thing I want, I want to know Him.

And knowing Him was more than just knowing about Him, I almost detest knowing about God, I really do. Because it indicates the fact that if you just know about Him, you don't have to become who He is.

I think it's an individual wrestling match with the Lord.

It's about God increasing our capacity to know Him, increasing our capacity to see Him - and God works that out in our lives.

what you were saying about feeling dried up, and this, that, and the other. If we don't feel that way, if we don't go through seasons of that, we're not really going deeper into God's heart, because it necessitates one level of us going away, so that we can know Him in a greater way.

Here's a paradox. Be at peace with where you're at, yet know in your heart, there's more to be had.

I praise Him and I worship Him and I thank You Father because You have not forsaken us.

Take Away:

Today there is a deep cry in the sons that God is raising up to know Him. Knowing about Him, hearing about other's walk with Him will not satisfy the drive within their heart. As Paul once said, “I must know Him, and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death that if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. You've got to know in your heart there is another place, there's a higher realm that God is beckoning us into. Be at peace of where your at, but know in your heart that there is more.

Summary:

As we grow in our awareness of Him, and how He is moving in and through us, He is always surprising us.

Show Notes:

The Lord is moving very quickly in this time and doing many things. Instead of trying to figure out all that He is doing, we are to come before Him in worship and just enjoy who He is.

A new day of worship is before us and we will see this by His revelation to us.

There is a whole new expression of Christ revealing Himself for us today.

I think God is doing so much. It's happening so fast. We sit down and try to figure things out. And about the time we got things figured out, God's moved on, and it's a whole new ballgame.

Everything just keeps coming back to this focus upon knowing the Lord, let Him fill our hearts. And it will happen.

There's a whole new expression of Christ revealing Himself for us today, and we don't want to be so busy looking back at how He did things once that we miss what He's doing right now.

If God walked into this building with a hat on and walked down the aisle, you wouldn't recognize it.

I want to come with an expectancy that He's going to appear in a way that I'm not even expecting.

I believe honestly that the Father is making His presence known. God is with us.

Take Away:

Today God is moving in the earth and doing so many things that we are not aware of. He is simply asking us to focus on Him and worship Him as He comes to us in ways we have not experienced before. We want to see it and walk in it.

Summary:

Passover is the beginning of change in our relationship to our Father. The Lord is setting us free from the way we have related to Him in the past. This is an opportunity for Him to transform us into what we were created to be. No more this drive to do something, to produce something, but instead we are learning how to abide in God.

We are experiencing the rolling off of the oppression of Babylon and the realization of who we are in God.

God is freeing us from that taskmaster concept of having to do something or be something. He is bringing us into a deeper revelation of Himself.

The Lord is trying to reveal Himself as our friend.

In this new relationship with the Lord, there is a sense of rest, just abiding in Him.

We are finding in our spirit's, in our way of thinking, and the way we relate to people, a depth of revelation of who we are in Him.

Abraham was called the friend of God. Think about that one. He was the friend of God. He was not his taskmaster.

What are you today? Are you broken and contrite before the Lord? Is your heart open to receive Him? Are you willing to open up and be made new?

It's all about delivering you into what God has for you next.

Every step is important because we're now walking out the word that's for us for this day.

Take Away:

Today the Lord is delivering His people from the taskmaster spirit and the way His people have related to Him. A new relationship is opening up that is all about rest, trust, and abiding in Him. Now He will have a people that He can call His friends.

Summary:

Today we are losing the separation between the Father and us. Just like His firstborn son, the Father is bringing forth many sons today through their relationship with Him. As we enter into this deep relationship with the Father, we find that we are decreasing and He is increasing. It is all about the Father and His expression through His sons.

There is a unique manifestation of the Father's nature in each son He has created.

Christ was our example and we follow in His footsteps as sons.

Each day we must drop our per-conceived ideas and simply let the Father define who we are.

The more we move into this confidence of our relationship with the Father, we simply don't need to worry about who we are because it's all about Him.

Titles and positions mean nothing to His sons. He is all and in all.

We know who we are in Him. The more we lose whatever the importance of who we are, the more He is going to move through us.

The importance of who we are is the importance of who He is.

What we're doing at this Passover, is we're submitting ourselves to be drawn closer into the creation that He calls His sons.

God created so many different aspects for us to receive of His nature. He put within each one of us a unique part of His nature.

God has created His worshipers to be like Him. God created so many different aspects for us to receive of Himself. He put within each one of us, a unique part of His nature.

Take Away:

Christ was the first-born son of many brethren. Today the Father is raising up His sons and through their relationship with Him they are finding their expression in the Father. Are you aware of His calling and destiny in you?

Summary:

The promise is that this generation, this race of people that God has created, is not going to pass away until we see the culmination of all that He has spoken. God is unfolding His promises in and through His people and they are becoming those new creatures, that chosen race, a people for God's own possession. Yes, God is completing His creation.

We walk out all that God has spoken as we just trust Him to unfold it through us.

We are shedding our past and walking into something new.

We were created at the foundation of the earth. God is now stripping away everything that we have picked up that is not really us.

We are being transformed as we stand before Him and worship.

The culmination of the ages would that not be us, and the cloud of witnesses coming together?

No generation has been called to do something like this before.

We're shedding so much of yesterday, we're being thrust into something new every day, if we're willing to accept it.

How do I take upon me the life of Christ? I eat of His body and drink of His blood and His life is in me. How do I be to the Father what He wants? Worship Him, and worship Him, and worship Him.

I am the light of the world, you are the light of the world. Why? Because the light that God created through His son is in you. I am dressed with a light in order to go out and do the will of God on the earth.

One of the things that's most exciting to me, is seeing God take this new creature and add to it. That's the day we are living in.

Take away:

The Father created a people before the foundations of the earth to worship Him. He is now unfolding His will in and through them as they believe what He has spoken about them and throw off the lies that have been put upon them. Does the Word say something about you that you are not believing? Start accepting what His Word says about you because it is His truth that sets you free to be His new creation on the earth today.

Summary:

Today, God is gathering His people together. He is looking for a relationship with them. We can simply relate to Him, have that fellowship with Him through His family, and know that He loves us. There are no high or low positions in His family, but we all just sit at His feet to learn from Him. This is how His family functions in this day of His kingdom.

I think God is looking for a relationship. A relationship in knowing that He loves you, that you can relate to Him; and can have that fellowship with Him.

When we are relating in a simplistic honesty in what we are saying and there is no offense in it, that is an ineradicable place to be.

The church has never been able to really be honest about how this relationship really works which is how the Christ in each of us relates to one another.

Those who try to Lord it over others and try to hold a position of influence find that the Spirit of Christ resist them.

God has scattered His people throughout the World. He has broken up man's organizations that have hemmed His people in. Now He will gather them together as His many-membered body on the earth.

Get these plaques out of religion and into reality in our lives.

The kingdom of God is relationships, which means people, which means God's trying to dwell in us. He's trying to bring Himself in us and through us to one another. And that is the kingdom.

The more we are relating like this, we are getting the religion out of our relating

.We've heard the grounds all level at the cross. And it's a great saying, but it really is the truth that there's no, we're all just sitting at His feet; learning.

If you are honest by the Spirit, the purpose is to deliver, not to put anyone down.

We have entered into His rest. He is directing and guiding us. We are listening to the voice of the Lord. We are truly functioning, becoming what God called us to be.
