Summary:

People pray like beggars, thinking that they have to do something to earn God's provision.

All of God's provision was already provided for us by His son through the cross.

As our awareness grows of the residing Holy Spirit, Christ and the Father within us, our attitude of prayer changes from looking to a God apart from us, and realizing that He dwells within us.

Our form of prayer begins to be a proclamation of what is already ours.

As our Lord taught us, we proclaim “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done!”

• In the scriptures Christ travailed in prayer there are prayers of appropriation knock the door is open, you ask, and it is yours.

• Prayer initiates with God making all things available to you.

• It is not about praying to a G od out there and begging or talking to a God up in heaven, but realizing He is within our hearts.

• The Lord’s prayer is a teaching of how to pray. thy Kingdom come thy will be done.

• Check your relationship with the Father, h ow deeply is your relationship with the Father? If you have a relationship with the father like Christ does, he said I only do the things I see the Father do. I only speak what my father speaks.

There are prayers of appropriation: Ask, and keep asking; Seek and keep seeking; Knock and keep knocking

Does God in the sky meet us? Or is it in our brothers and sisters?

It says, “Christ in you, the Hope of Glory”, do we believe this?

Where is Christ? Is He not in His creation, all around us?

It is our minds that limit how we perceive the Christ.

We need to stop going around the mountain and climb it.

We thought that it was God in the sky that should come down and meet with us. But we are finding that it is Christ others that He chooses to meet us today.

If we become to familiar with someone, then we know them after the flesh and probably will not hear Christ from them.

It is “Christ in you, the hope of glory” that I must open up to, it so real and practical and not so much ethereal but through faith. He chooses imperfect human vessels to minister.

Our minds are what limit how Christ can minister to each of us, if we are attuned to His word and are paying attention then we will hear Him speak to us.

As we seek Him, He will be known by us.

We need to stop “going around the mountain” and restore mankind’s relationship with the Father.

Do we know God the Father’s voice?

Are we willing to hear what He has to say?

• We give our spirits and whole life to hear His voice and speak His Word

• His Word has authority and power behind it, we are only vessels or servants

• We do not know as we ought, ask Him to show us

• Jesus only spoke what He heard the Father speak

Stress today is opening people up to diseases and a death process never seen before. In the Fathers presence there is a rest that energizes us and a peace that passes all understanding.

• In the New Testament church age, no one went out to talk about themselves, but to talk about Jesus, the Christ.

• As we become as He is, then we can impart to others who He is.

Summary:

Adam, the first son, learned disobedience through his experience in the garden with the fruit. Jesus Christ learned obedience through the things he suffered. Jesus opened the door for us to return to that relationship as sons.

Show Notes:

We can learn from Creation as God can use anything to teach us if we are open. God was teaching Adam and Eve and would have taught them about the tree of good and evil when they were ready.

God did create man with a free will and after eating the fruit, realized that they made a mistake. We now have a struggle to make the right decisions.

Adam and Eve walked with God in the cool of the evening, Christ died so that we could have that relationship with God once again.

Those who have the revelation of the Father and of the Son and that have the revelation that they are a Son are the ones that see the big picture.

Why did God give us free will? He wants us to love Him because of our choice or else it would be a false worship.

God is bringing forth His Sons, bringing them forth by their free will, not forced to do it.

Reach into the Spirit and find out what we need to be doing, feel the heart of the Father.

To understand the humanity of Jesus Christ is to know His example which allows us to become just like Him.

Since He is the pattern Son, then that means there will be others after that pattern.
