Dank eines neuen Features können Instagram User bald mit Streaming-Plattformen direkt vom Desktop live gehen. Durch die Nutzung von Live-Streaming-Software können Nutzer nun parallel auf mehreren Netzwerken wie Facebook und LinkedIn gleichzeitig Live gehen. Durch den Einsatz von streaming Plattformen wie Ecamm Live, Streamyard oder Restream bekommen die Live-Videos auch einen professionelleren Look.

Mit diesem Schritt, könnte es Instagram gelingen, zur Top Live-Streaming Platform aufzusteigen. In den USA liegt Instagram nur hinter anderen Netzwerken wie YouTube und Facebook in Beliebtheit der Nutzer zurück. Was die Anzahl der weltweiten Nutzer angeht, so ist Instagram bereits auf einem Höhenflug seit Mitte 2018 haben sich die Nutzerzahlen auf 2 Milliarden verdoppelt.

Anfang November 2022 befindet sich das angekündigte Feature noch in der Testphase mit einer kleinen Gruppe von Personen. Erste Leaks und Videos aus der Testphase sind bereits auf Social Media aufgetaucht. Hierbei ziehe ich erste Erfahrungsberichte von Marielou Mandl ein und spreche mit Katie Fawkes, Marketing Direktorin von Ecamm Live.

Thanks to a new feature, Instagram users will soon be able to go live with streaming platforms directly from their desktops. By using live-streaming software, users can now go live simultaneously on multiple networks like Facebook and LinkedIn. By using streaming platforms like Ecamm Live, Streamyard or Restream, the live videos will also get a more professional look.

With this step, Instagram could succeed in becoming the top live-streaming platform. In the U.S., Instagram lags behind only other networks like YouTube and Facebook in user popularity. As for the number of global users, Instagram is already on a high since mid-2018, user numbers have doubled to 2 billion.

As of early November 2022, the announced feature is still in testing with a small group of people. First leaks and videos from the test phase have already surfaced on social media. In the podcast, I present initial testimonials from Marielou Mandl and speak with Katie Fawkes, Marketing Director of Ecamm Live.
