As Fulham fans wait for the Carabao cup 4th round draw tonight we reflect on another Fulham performance under Arbeloa which ranged from needless blunders to majestic passages of play. A necessary win before Fulham have their home game against Manchester United on Sunday!

How important is this point for Fulham and Arbeloa?  Only time will tell but a massive sigh of relief. A balanced and professional display by the Fulham team and manager.  I also go off on a SCR tangent (apologies!) but end the pod with a tiny drop of hope….and then go back to being anxious again. Crisis? What crisis…….?!  A hard look at the possibility of relegation as Arbeloa continues with his tactical philosophy.  Yes, some lovely football and the flourishing of Josh King, but our feeble defense negates everything that he and the teamhave worked so hard to achieve.

Fulham laid bare. Exciting times ahead but equally the inherent inbalance/strengths/weaknesses of the squad and the seemingly ad hoc manner in which signings are made (managers and players alike, now and historically) were obvious to see in this match. Will Arbeloa and the players manage to progress successfully? It's never easy being a Fulham fan!

Fulham win the 2nd round of the Carabao Cup and we were witness to some fine performances and a great set of travelling fans! Lovely passages of play by Fulham and important goals for Muniz, Smith-Rowe and Gonzalo. Who will Arbeloa pick for the match on Sunday and how will Fulham perform against Sunderland?

If we played this game in reverse would it have been any easier? No! it would have been worse with Chelsea getting a winner 32 seconds before the final whistle. ( So Fulham fans it could have been a lot worse. Still - quite a bit to be excited about, although have been ready to press the panic button!

Don't be fooled by the sun, goals and riverside location - there is so much that Fulham have to do to ensure we don't go backwards next season. However, some very enjoyable moments for Fulham Fans - but a summer of uncertainty awaits!

Should Fulham rebuild a team around King?  Is it time to make major changes to personnel and ethos? Fulham came away with a draw against Wolves – a performance which is not unusual for Fulham this season – but we had been given another (undeserved) opportunity....but Fulham did not take it.  What next Fulham fans…?
