In this class we build upon the foundations of alignment and energy centers in the body. I start with deep belly breathing to help us focus into the body. We start on the ground with some stretches and gentle movements, initially linking movement with breath while seated. Then we work through specific alignments in table top and downward facing dog, build up our practice to standing postures; mountain, high crescent lunge, and warrior 2. We then make our way back down to the ground to stretch it out and cool down, and enjoy a brief savasana.
