Over the years, mindfulness has become incredibly popular which has led to the term being used loosely in several different definitions. Even amongst seasoned practitioners there might be some variation of how mindfulness is defined, so it’s important to establish some clarity on how we use this term in the program. We will use the definition from Jon Kabat Zinn who is often viewed as the Godfather of Mindfulness in the western world.
