In today's episode, we'll take a look behind the curtain of a private coaching session with Professional Counselor Pam Vredevelt and discuss how to boost engagement on Instagram using my CASH method. Pam and I have been working together on her social media presence, and she is now looking to upgrade it even more. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Grief Recovery Expert, Pam has the natural gift and expertise to help clients emotionally heal after painful losses such as death, divorce, and broken relationships. So I'm so excited for you to meet her in this episode.

I taught Pam my cash method to help her create captions, which convert to cash and increase engagement. We also discussed some tweaks she could do with her reels to increase engagement. Like most business owners, she wants to grow her audience... Ultimately, this will allow her to reach more people who want to know how to partner with God on their healing journey, and who will benefit from her live experiential online groups.

A deeper dive into Reels

Pam wanted to know how to make reel covers that better engage people's attention. I share tips and tricks on how to take photos and use the cover to keep it interesting and attract people. You can either use the cover feature in Instagram and freeze the video on the best screenshot or make a cover in Canva or something like that. Whatever you do, your reel cover is important to the overall look of your Instagram account. 

Improve our captions

Different people process information differently. While some people are visual and will take in the information you've shared in the actual reel, others like to read so you can write a caption that describes whatever the reel is about. It's best to use my cash method, which is my proven method to help you write captions that convert, plus increase engagement and gets traffic going in the right direction. Sometimes it's going to feel like you're giving away your best stuff; however, as a professional in your industry, you can share the wisdom that changes lives...AND unless people have the guidance and accountability of a coach, a counselor, or a therapist to help them take steps forward, they might never take action and experience the fulfillment of their goals and dreams.
