Live Day 2 Tuesday Q and A 8pm
How many calories do I need https://frucifit.com/howmanycaloriesdoineed/
2) Im pescatarian so prob best of both worlds . Will think about adding in soy as most I ve read about it is negative being GMO. Are edamame beans the same? Thanks
3)Question -I have bought some powdered peanut butter -less fat but protein looks higher and it appears to be processed rather than UPF - is this right or have I got this wrong ?? As a veggie I love nuts as a source of protein but the fat cost can be very high - bought this after listening to your video on yogurt about how much do you have to “spend” to get the protein
4) What dosage of vitamin D is optimal as I am on prescribed maintenance dose of 25,000 units a month, not sure if safe to increase as I think I have a mild case of sad
5) Please can you clarify what a hand sized portion means? Palm sized? From finger tips to wrist sized? And whose hand?
6) Can you suggest some soy products please. I don't where to start! Did you mention soy yoghurt??
7) More a comment on last nights discussion about getting a greater variety of veggies/ nuts & beans in: don’t forget the variety of herbs/ spices which we add to our food- they all play an important part. Eg Curry powder is a rich source of iron, ginger and anti inflammatory (I think) & medicine gardens are part of Horticultural & medicinal history. Herbs fresh or dried play a big role in our diet, if you cook from scratch, chuck ‘em in!
8) Would love to have some guidance on what vitamin tablets would benefit me this time of year ( I know massive subject)
9) Vitamins is a good question for me too, post menopause, should I be taking any ?
10 ) For breakfast, is it healthier to have a bowl of porridge or would shredded wheat work equally as good?
11) Should you take vitamin d all year or just throughout the winter months
12) How much water should I drink?
