Kevin Saunderson, One of the Detroit techno pioneers, was delivering a high quality mix of techno in Studio 2 of the Mediahaven at Loveland x 909 Collabs 3000

During our ADE event 909 I Collabs All night (Chris Liebing & Speedy J) x Loveland we invited three 909 residents to play in our beloved Studio 2 at The Mediahaven. It’s no suprise that Vince Watson is one of those residents beceause of his long lasting relationship with the 909 events. Last year his opening set at Studio 1 was phenomenal. In 1998 Aril Brikha’s ‘Groove La Chord’ crossed generic boundaries. Is it techno? Is it house? Is it deep house? No one was more surprised by the success of the record than Brikha himself. The fifth episode of the 909 podcast series is from Philadelphia’s born Josh Wink. The label boss of Ovum Recordings always knows how to stay on the fine line between House and Techno.
