Loneliness is a very powerful feeling. I know it well. Sometimes, I’m just bored, sometimes I’m just tired, but other times I just want to know I’m not a stray satellite floating through outer space in some random orbit no one knows about.

Have you stopped yet today to think about just how much God loves you? It’s really pretty remarkable. Think about it, the God of the Universe who created you uniquely, unlike anybody else on the planet, takes great pleasure in who you are. God simply digs the fact that you exist. Amazing, isn’t it?

When I travel, I rely heavily on my GPS on my phone. And most times it actually works! But a recent trip. I noticed that I was driving through a large metropolitan city, I think in Ohio. But I actually had no idea what city it was.

Do you have a vision for your future? Casting a vision for a brighter future is an important element of hope. By contrast, focusing on how the world is falling apart and singing songs of doom and gloom, doesn’t paint yourself as much of a person of hope, does it?

How can you live out your faith and hope to the world around you? There is great need in the world around us, but it’s going to take our choosing to live by a different paradigm.
