Live In The Library

Chattanooga shoegaze band MULT made a bold statement with their debut EP Back Around, released in September 2024 via Delayed Gratification Records.

The band expands the boundaries of shoegaze, blending elements of alt-rock and grunge with the moody, introspective feel of acoustic-powered slowcore.

With fuzzy guitars and mellow vocals, Back Around echoes the shoegaze revival while paying homage to the genre’s ‘90s-era pioneers. Yet, MULT infuses the sound with inventive touches, carving out their distinctive voice.

This week, MULT brings their unique sound to Live in the Library, offering WUTC listeners an exclusive live-to-tape performance from one of the most exciting up-and-coming acts in the South’s shoegaze and alternative music scenes.

MULT band members: Ben on guitar/vocals, Trevor on guitar, Chloe on bass/vocals, Jackson guitar/vocals, Harry on drums.
