Talking through discipline when everything feels heavy.

I’ve been wanting time to move faster, always looking ahead, and slowly realizing how much of the present gets missed because of it.

No answers. Just showing up and talking it out.

There’s a scene in the movie Passengers where a bartender says something that’s been stuck in my head. He tells the main character, “You’d rather be somewhere else than here. You feel like you’re supposed to be somewhere else.” Then he adds, “Even if you could snap your fingers and be anywhere you wanted… you’d still feel the same.” That hit me hard. Because that’s exactly how I’ve been living. Always wishing I was somewhere else. Somewhere better. Somewhere where I think happiness finally lives.

I keep replaying something that already happened. This is me sitting with it instead of running from it.

The amount of time that we were given to be here on this planet. How fast it slips, how strange it feels to wake up older, and how easy it is to lose ourselves trying to keep up with everyone else.

Spending a simple afternoon with family made me realize how fast everything shifts , how quickly faces age, how suddenly people disappear, and how easy it is to waste moments we’ll beg to get back one day.

Just me trying to understand why I feel guilty for resting, why I still wear masks without thinking, and why I keep chasing a life I’m not even sure I want.

There’s no advice here. Just me trying to make sense of feeling lost, scared of failing, and unsure of where I’m heading.
