I’ve talked about this many before and I’m still struggling with it. Letting go of the things I can’t control. The decisions already made. The words already said. The outcomes I can’t change.

Growing up, I was taught that success only came one way. Go to college, get a degree, choose the “right” career, and prove yourself. For a long time, I lived my life trying to meet those expectations, even when it meant abandoning myself in the process.

Today was one of those days where I questioned my path, my choices, and whether I’m wasting my time. Just trying to find gratitude in the ordinary and reminding myself that being here right now, still matters. Sometimes the moment you’re living in is the whole point.

Some days don’t feel like wins on the surface, but they matter because of the small things like showing up, doing honest work, being kind when no one’s watching.

For the first time after 266 episodes, someone left a comment on an episode in this podcast. Knowing that someone is actually listening made all the doubts come rushing in. The fear of being judged, the feeling of not being good enough, and the question I’ve been avoiding: “Should I even be doing this?”

When you’re tired, older than you thought you’d be by now, and painfully aware that time keeps moving whether you change or not. It’s about wanting comfort, choosing destruction, and still hoping you can become someone different.

We rush to the finale… then wonder why we feel empty when it’s over.

Lately, I’ve realized how tightly I’ve tied my self-worth to progress, results, achievements, money, relationships, decisions going “right.” And when those things disappear… so does my sense of value.

The strange fulfillment that comes from helping others when you’re barely holding yourself together.

Whether it’s money, career, relationships, achievements, or numbers in accounts. I’m learning that losing things doesn’t mean losing myself. And realizing that maybe I’m not starting from zero, maybe I’m starting from experience.
