Maybe one day I’ll look back at this episode and realize this was the moment everything changed. Not because life suddenly got easier, but because I finally stopped running from the truth. Whether it’s asking someone out, starting a business, making a podcast, changing careers, or chasing a dream, sometimes the story we tell ourselves weighs more than the challenge itself. Maybe you can handle more than you think.

Lately I’ve been struggling to appreciate what I already have. My mind keeps drifting toward what I’ve lost, what could have been, and the life I wish I had. Then I watched a video about families living inside a drainage tunnel beneath a highway in the Philippines.

After watching documentaries about addiction, prison, and the rapid pace of technology, I couldn’t stop thinking about how fortunate we are to have freedom, yet how easily we waste it on things that don’t move our lives forward.

Sometimes people are only meant to be in our lives for a season. The hardest part isn’t losing them. It’s letting go of the hope that things could have been different.

One day, you’ll be able to connect the dots looking back. Until then, have the courage to believe you can connect them looking forward.

Last night I felt like giving up. This morning, I woke up to a clean apartment, a little more energy, and a different perspective. Nothing in my life had changed overnight except one simple thing: before going to bed, I cleaned up my space.

Maybe this season isn’t the end. Maybe it’s just a chapter we have to survive before the next one begins.
