An examination of ourselves. We must make an effort. Can we clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience?

Many Christians doubt or are confused about Christ’s return despite biblical information. The Bible provides an abundance of information regarding the return of Christ. The Bible teaches about the how, why, and when Jesus’ second coming. Jesus is coming in the clouds very soon. Will you plan to meet him?

To fight the good fight you need a spiritual training plan. This involves developing perseverance, goodness, knowledge, self-control, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love. It includes spiritual fitness, exercise, and utilising the armour of God, while relying on God’s strength, motivation, and empowerment.

To follow in someone’s footsteps? What would you give up to follow Jesus? What is the promise that Jesus gives you? Where is your treasure?

This is part two of the series where we look at the family of God. Jacob moves and the large amount of what is needed to move. Where they move to Bethel where Heaven and Earth combining. This is where Jacob sets up a memorial stone. Fast forward to chapter 49 where Jacob is on his deathbed. He calls his sons to bless them. Then later he looks back at his life and how he has been blessed.

First in a two part series. Looks at the Bible character of Jacob and the family dynamics of what lead him to runaway way from home. Looking at the importance of dynamics and applied it to our family of origin as well as us being the family of God. Two experiences of Jacob that led him know he was part of the family of God and a vision a stairwell to Heaven and wrestling with an Angel and given a hip to remember and a new name. And names are important in the Bible.
