The pandemic has hit a lot of areas super hard. Gathering in groups has become a major no no so no more concerts and many church's have decided not to reopen in person just yet. Relevant Magazine reports that 40% of "evangelicals" only attend church once a year. So, what gives? Has church jumped the shark? Are we all just over it?
In this episode Leah and Dustin discuss their last two church experiences and talk hopefully of what could be in the future.
If you aren't a church person this one might not be for you but, truth is, it probably is the perfect episode for you to start with!
We all agree, covid sucks. It's been a seriously rough year for almost everyone on earth and that is unique in and of itself. I mean, when in anybody's lifetime did the whole world go through something together? Sure, we all grieve when Taylor Swift breaks up with whatever boy she's seeing at the time but we do get an album out of that deal .. and really, do North Koreans care about at T. Swift album? I think not.
Join us as we lament about covid with our entire family. We discuss the highs (if there were any), the lows and the in between of the most sucktastic year ever.
In this episode Leah and Dustin talk to Pops, Leah's dad, about family relationships and how we can respect each other when we don't agree.
Please be patient at the beginning of this cast as we had a bit of technical difficulties.
Financial freedom is a game changer for families. It allows them to be generous, go on adventures, get braces and much more. In this episode we discuss going from bouncing checks on our honeymoon to be debt free.
Money management is a key part of being married. Sometimes one person in the marriage likes to spend money (Leah) and one person is a stingy old money saving scrooge (Dustin). What do you do in that situation? Well, if this describes you and your relationship don't be scared, most couples have one spender and one saver. The real struggle is how do you deal with each other when you're so different? In this episode we cover how we struggled through the first few years without figuring out why we were so miserable when it came to money.
Goals are important. They help us figure out if we're on track or going down a rabbit hole. They help us physically, mentally and spiritually. So, if they're so great, why are they so hard to keep? In this episode we talk about how we set family and individual goals and how we've implemented them as a daily practice.
We dive headfirst into these two phenomenons. Dustin may or may not think one of them is real but Leah puts him in his place (as she tends to do). They discuss personality traits and how important it is to really get to know what it takes to make your significant other feel loved.
Have you ever had those conversations where you're looking at the person talking but you can't really hear them? This happened to Dustin on a number of occasions when people in authority in our lives told him not to marry Leah.
This episode gets really real and we talk about how other people can influence your marriage, when you should listen and when you shouldn't.
In this episode we dive right in and get to know Leah and Dustin Bryson, the hosts of Live Laugh Ugh. They explain how they met when Leah was on a world wide tour slapping the fretless bass and how Dustin's game landed Leah's hand in marriage (but just barely).
We know that familying is hard but we think it can also be pretty dang funny. So, take a 30 minute ride with us as we chat about all things funny in our brand new podcast, Live Laugh UGH!
