In this episode , Laura chats with and welcomes back Cady Justice from @diaryofaupswife. Cady shares 5 way to keep your marriage/relationship alive and thriving during the phenomenon known as “UPS Peak Season” which we are smack dab in the middle of. Episode 21: “Live Happy!” with special guest, Blanca Beltran. Blanca is a host for the Real Beauty Real Women show.  She joined the city of Houston's HTV in 2016 and quickly moved into an HTV Correspondent role for their social media platforms, as well as for on-air personality.  Before joining HTV, Blanca worked at ABC13 for 18 years.  She began as a news writer, and then transitioned into a producer for the Debra Duncan show eventually forming part of the digital department for the last 12 years at ABC13.  

Blanca was born in south Texas, but Houston has been home most of her life.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism at the University of Houston.  Blanca is also a fitness instructor at Champions Club and loves sharing her life-long passion for health and fitness.  She is currently a board member for a non-profit, Thrive Pro Bono, which offers assistance to the community in need.  In her spare time, she enjoys her family, volunteering, yoga, tennis, and running, as she has completed seventh Houston Aramco Half Marathons and currently training for her eighth.

Episode 20- “Cardboard Queens👸🏼 and other stories of a UPS Wife” with special guest, Cady Justice

In Episode 20, Laura chats with creator of the blog “Diary of a UPS Wife”, Cady Justice.

Cady is a graphic designer and stay at home mama. She's been a UPS daughter her whole life and became a UPS wife last year when her husband of 6 years became a package driver. She and her husband, Jordan, finished building their dream home in the hills of Tennessee last year and have been growing their farm ever since. Her busy life is full of wild adventures, but she wouldn't have it any other way.

In this episode (Ep. 19) “Believe in the Possibilities”, Laura chats with Dr. Shirley Rose-Gilliam, 31 year veteran in education. Dr. Rose-Gilliam understands the meaning of growing up in tough, challenged and disadvantaged settings with very few opportunities. Her experiences as a child have been both a catalyst for changing her situation and today motivates her to answer the special “calling” to make a difference in the lives of youth. She has a history of turning problem schools around and working to improve and restore a positive tone in the school and communities surrounding her schools.

Episode 18 “Live Authentic, Be Authentic” with Special Guest, Elizabeth Roy

Elizabeth Roy is an entrepreneur and the Founder of the Elizabeth Roy Collection she is also the co-owner of Ballin' Sportswear. She graduated Summa cum laude from University of Houston (go coogs!) with Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She started her career in Education and taught for 10+ years as a Bilingual Elementary and Middle School Pre-Ap Math teacher at Title One Schools. Her lifelong passions are to *ignite motivation in others to reach their dreams no matter their current circumstances,

*explore her creativity with textiles,colors and artwork,

*achieve a healthier lifestyle

*and continue to promote women empowerment *and spread awareness on animal abuse.

Sophie is a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, FDN-P, and the Founder of SHE. Sophie helps women around the globe transform their menstrual and hormone health through nutrition, holistic lifestyle changes and root cause testing so they can finally have straightforward answers to their most mystifying symptoms. Jasmin is a digital content creator, photographer and travel blogger with a passion for creating and sharing authentically. Her journey started on a one way ticket to South America in 2018 and since returning to the states, she has continued to advocate for mental health & mindset, inspiring others and living a purpose filled life.
