Moving Home with Charlie

Live Q&A: Retired Agent warns of Seller Traps in market downturns

Listen Later

Charlie talks to a veteran agent of three previous housing downturns, John Durrant, about the dangers of overpricing, and what it was like being an agent at a time when repossessions were at record levels.

In 1992, in the depths of a housing downturn, estate agent employee John Durrant left his job to set up his own Estate Agency Business named "Waterfall, Durrant & Barclay" (Now Waterfalls).

The business was the winner of several national awards for service and marketing and with a highly-prized reputation for integrity, expertise and estate agency skills.
