When the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon Saul at his anointing, he was transformed into a different man. But after Saul sinned and hardened his heart, the Spirit of the Lord departed from him. 

David’s story, however, shows us a different path—one of humility, repentance, and restoration. Unlike Saul, David kept a heart that was pliable and willing to receive conviction, confess sin, and seek the Lord’s forgiveness. Welcome to Day 8 of our 90-day devotion series! Today, we're in Deuteronomy 34, looking more closely at the succession of Joshua after Moses' death.

💡 Key Takeaway: Just as the Holy Spirit empowered Joshua, He desires to dwell in you, guiding you with confidence, wisdom, and divine gifting. If the task isn't complete, the Spirit is still at work. He needs willing vessels to work through. We can also grieve the Holy Spirit through disobedience and pride. Let's learn from the missteps of others and flow with the leading of the Holy Spirit.
