John 11:24 Martha said to Him, "I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day."

Again, Martha’s faith and confidence shines. She believes that death does not have the final say in the lives of believers. It’s why we celebrate when a loved one who knows Jesus leaves the body at the last breath. This is pretty amazing since this event is a pre-resurrection occurrence. Anyone with such faith should not be afraid of death. We know that all who are in Christ will be raised on the last day that this fallen, cursed world breathes its last breath. What a day that will be! Rejoice today in this wonderful hope of joining all the loved ones who have gone before you in the presence of the risen Lord Jesus Christ.
