God is in control of Caiaphas’ prophetic statement. God’s will is being done on earth as it is in heaven. He is working all things according to the counsel of His own will. This was true in this account as well as today in our lives. This gives us great confidence as we live to love with Jesus. We can rest assured that nothing occurs outside of His will and purpose to glorify Jesus in our lives.
