On our latest Podcast I talked to Sheryl Worthington, a Senior Laboratory Scientist from Auckland New Zealand. She is  a Healthy Ageing Advocate and a business mentor in a wellness company. From early on in her life she lived life like any normal adult. Along her journey she realised that her body wasn’t keeping up with her activities in life.

Kathryn is a lady who has gone through a lot in her life. For many years she struggled with it until she got to a point where she recognised that she needed to change. She shares with us a little bit about her story. We hope she can make a small difference to someones life by sharing her story.

The timing seems right for me to update  and refresh this digital blog. I thought I would also give people and update as to how I have been going and what I have been up to. Like most people around the world, my life has  been governed  by the pandemic. Currently, I am based in Singapore. I have been here for the most part of the last 12 months, but I also have just recently come back from a trip to Melbourne, Australia. This gave me an opportunity to see how Melbourne looked like coming out of lock down compared to here. I lived through the first year of the pandemic in Melbourne and I remember how I felt living it.

After a year since the dynamic digital duo worked together on an assignment they are still in touch.

We duck dive a few minutes to discuss TikTok and why it differs from other social media platforms. Is it safe? How much data is actually gathered by the platform? Its just social media! The issues relating to surveillance and security is alarming and most people wouldn't even realise the dangers of how this data can be potentially be used by the Chinese state government. The US is looking to ban it  but it seems  Australia is not overly concerned with this Chinese owned company that runs the platform. It is on the radar, but Australia is adopting a wait and see approach with some caution.

Living his perfect life, Alvin has been in the photography industry for over 15 years.  He is a qualified hairdresser who realised that his passion was not just about 'hair'! He his a self taught photographer and has learnt his tricks through a lot of trial and error. Like many businesses this year, he has had to wait it out and stay positive, even having to postpone his own wedding plans. He is upbeat and positive and was very kind with his time sharing his story with us.

The world was at his feet and it would seem that he had it all planned out. As many young people do in this age, he decided to take a bit of a break to travel. After a stint in England playing a bit of cricket and a detour to Japan, he decided to settle in and plan out what the next move to be.
