Welcome to the first episode of the Live Your Purpose podcast!

My guest is Alex Taussig, a health coach and Harry Potter enthusiast living in Oklahoma City. Alex is legally blind and is passionate about amplifying and celebrating disability culture in her city. An encourager (think Hufflepuff) by nature, Alex relishes the opportunity to walk alongside people of all abilities as they pursue health in all areas of life.

Alex shares the struggles and triumphs that have most shaped her life, including being visually impaired since birth, early international experiences, and her dramatic journey through personal weight loss. She dives deep into what a thriving, fun-loving OKC metro disability community might be and what role she hopes to play in its development. Alex also reveals how her weight loss led to a new sense of self and her vocation as a health coach.
