Round 7 of the Premier League kicks off with an early match between Crystal Palace and Liverpool. The ”Red Brigade” is showing extremely impressive performance with a series of 5 wins in all competitions. More broadly, Liverpool has won 8 out of 9 matches since the beginning of the season. They are full of confidence aiming for their 6th consecutive victory to consolidate the top spot in the table.
In every aspect, Liverpool is rated higher than the home team. The Kop is superior in strength, experience, class as well as confrontation record (winning 8/10 recent matches). Meanwhile, Crystal Palace is deep in crisis with a series of draws and losses. ”Eagle” is currently submerged in 18th place on the rankings.
However, Crystal Palace cannot be underestimated when they play at home at Selhurst Park. Surely coach Roy Hodgson and his team will be determined to win points against Liverpool to improve their position on the rankings.
