    God reveals more of Himself to Moses.
    On earth we will only see Him in part, but thankfully God reveals the part of Himself that we need to see at the time.
    After spending time in God's Presence, Moses reflected His glory.
    We too, should reflect Him to the world.
    So spend time in His Presence so that you He can reveal more of Himself to you and you can reflect Him to the world.

    He said he could not move forward if God didn't go with him.
    We too can do nothing without the Lord.
    He spoke to the Lord face to face like a friend.
    He needed reassurance & guidance.
    God had favor on him and gave him all that he asked.

    God wanted to kill all the people for their worship of the golden calf.

    Moses interceded yet delivered his own set of consequences.
    He tried to illustrate how breaking even one law nullified the whole covenant.
    Moses made them choose a side.
    The Levites publicly professed their allegiance and service to God.
    They paid a high price but were blessed in return.
    Moses tried to atone for the people's sin but found himself unqualified and unworthy.
    We too are all lawbreakers (sinners) in need of God's mercy.
    We must all choose whose side we are on and what price we are willing to pay for the Lord, the One who paid it all for us.
    No one but Jesus is able to bring forgiveness, mercy, or salvation.
    We are all responsible for our own faith or lack their of.

    Exodus 32:1-6

    The Israelites wanted a visible god.

    Aaron led them in sin instead of in faith.
    So they broke the first 3 commandments
    As they worshipped this idol, they believed they were worshipping the Lord.
    Do we mix the practices of our world into the church and pervert the gospel?
