At the age of fourteen, David Welday attended a Christian camp with a specific goal in mind. He believed it was time to “kiss a girl.”  That didn’t happen but he did fall in love with Jesus.  From that point on, he wanted to serve Jesus with everything he had.

While he once said that he didn’t want to work for a Christian company, he eventually founded one.  In 2004, he began Higher Life Publishing Company.  Since that time, he has published over two hundred and fifty books and many of them contain a strong Christian message.
