With over 14 years of experience in the diamond industry, Rhona is able to use her knowledge of diamonds and jewellery to expertly guide clients through the creation of bespoke pieces and remodels of existing pieces of jewellery.

Not only is she an incredible business owner, but she is also an incredible mother to her daughter, Maia.

In fact, our first meeting with Rhona occurred when she submitted her interest to become a participant for our book of breastfeeding stories. We touch upon a bit of her story during the interview, as well as her thoughts around balancing motherhood and running her own highly successful business.

Linda is a mum of two who left her corporate career in 2017 when her employer decided that having 2 children didn’t really work for them.

She then started Pilates & Fitness with Linda in 2018 and hasn’t looked back.

Linda moved her classes to Zoom at the start of the pandemic and says it has saved her sanity, as well as the sanity of her clients.

She currently offers three classes per week - general population class, bone strengthening class, and stretch & slow class.

She is a PT and can advise on nutrition, if requested; however, she is a big believer in balance, moderation and a big non-believer in deprivation & overtraining.

She likes to promote monthly challenges, healthy balanced eating, and plenty of H2O - at least 3 litres a day.

Linda is currently running a #skippingintospring challenge to increase mental health awareness in which she is skipping for 10 minutes every day and encouraging her Instagram followers to do the same. She has managed to procure prizes from 28 local businesses for a draw prize every day to go along with the challenge

In our first Interview for Living a Life Well Fed, Ariana speaks with Pamela Quiery - a certified Hand in Hand Parenting Instructor that has been practicing Hand in Hand Parenting for over 5 years.

Hand in Hand Parenting is all about giving parents the support and practical tools they need to be peaceful and respectful leaders in their families.

Pamela provides online classes, talks, and also offers one-to-one support to parents.

Building community is important to her so she hopes to get back to providing in-person classes in her local community whenever that becomes possible again.

She is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland and has two children aged 9 and 5 years old.
