Lauren is a mum of two beautiful children. She has a BA Hons in Health and social care and also a diploma in CBT. Lauren became a born-again Christian in 2004. 

She is transparent about her past with mental health, depression, anxiety and self- harm. But through God she learnt to refocus from the negative and towards Christ. She practices being mindful of Him, thus the name of her blog ‘Mindful of Christ’. She is the author of ‘Christian Based Cognitive Behavioural therapy’ and her most recent publication; ‘Indestructible Faith- prayers & prompts for journaling’ and has co- authored three books too, including the number one bestseller ‘Worship in the Wilderness: Let praise lead the way.’ As an accredited Christian Life Coach and a speaker, she helps people to recognise & overcome limiting beliefs and negative mindsets and helps them to discover and step into their God given purpose. Are you feeling stuck, sad, depressed,
Why should I know about the Favor of God?
Why do I need it?
Have you ever wanted a change in your life, but you didn't know how to get there? How do I become more, make my life better? How do I stop pushing through and get relief from sadness, depression, loss? How do I get real blessing, favor, and happiness?

Finding and standing in the Favor of God is: being in the Word, being in His presence, and allowing yourself to be available for Jesus to come live with you, as you abide in Him. If doors aren't opening up for you, you feel aimless, and are feeling all the NOs of life, like life is closing you up, find Jesus' presence.

The favor of God fulfills you, remains with you, gives you real and lasting purpose. It goes to fight FOR you in your darkest hour. It's your weapon of victory.

Stop attempting to "put on", "adding" THIINGS in your life in your failed attempt to get happiness and success.

If you want more peace, take off striving. If you want joy in your home, answered prayers, lasting fulfillment, then the favor of God is available for you. Come into His presence and drop off everything that isn't born from being in God's presence.

When you say "YES, LORD" what happens next?
A lot of growth, trust, surrender, and definitely blessing that is pressed down and overflowing.

NO is good! There is power and freedom in your NO.

No releases more HARNESSED POWER.
A harnessed power is focused, bridled, and guided for more power to flow in it.
No brings you closer to your centered energy, so that you aren’t do all the things, all the time.

What will saying “NO” empower your life with?

• One NO from a wrong potential client will only bring you closer to a niched down best kind of client
• One NO from a naysayer or slanderer on social media will only empower you to shine brighter
• No from the wrong guy will set you on the path to the right guy
• No teaches discipline
• No puts you on the narrow path not the wide path (that’s biblical)
• No will cost you in only the things that don’t need to be there anyway

5 Reasons for saying NO: Say NO for a Better YES!
Write down:
“if I don’t say no...

1) other ppl’s priorities will take precedence over mine

2) I’m spending time with mere acquaintances which can crowd out family or close friends time 

3) I will not have the time I need for rest and recovery

4) I will end up frustrated 

5) I won’t be able to say yes to the important things

So, here’s your REFRAME today:
Every time we say no to something that is not important or aligned with our vision we are saying YES to something that is: our work, our relationships, our resources, our energy, our living aura.

When we have the rewards, the fruit & blessings we prayed for actually come to us, the joy, the healing, the new job, the spouse, the restoration, whatever it is you have:
It’s your treasure. Guard it with all your might!

You are the master gardener of your living aura, your atmosphere of where your heart lives, what it creates, how expanded it is. Allow this garden to both inspire you to create more, and be all of you, allowing it to birth new beauty inside of you. Because, when we plant seeds of hope, we are investing into our harvest.

If we plant seeds for a magnolia, we cannot expect it to develop into a hibiscus. The same goes for our lives. If we are planting our garden, our aura, our life, are we being a gardener who deliberately plants magnolias to get hibiscus, this means if we are hosting an environment of doubt, how can we expect to bear the fruit of doubtLESS. In your garden, where are you planting and watering what does belong, and uprooting what does not belong?

What appears to be devastating, or too difficult, could actually be the one place you were meant to stand, completely surrendered to the call of crafting your garden.

Go be a living aura today by taking time to be in the center of yourself, breathing in beauty, new creativity, and watering only what serves as the highest form of you.

If we allow our circumstances to DICTATE our success, what if those circumstances are dire? What then? You’re just going to roll over?

Instead, take the good, the bad, the ugly, and your beautiful soul; put it all together, shift, pivot, get resourceful; do WHATEVER it takes to CRAFT a new way of showing up.

Mantra for 2021 is this:

"I AM showing up in a new way, in my new self, with my empowering vision to accept change, use creativity to pivot, resourcefulness and resources of all ages, and make choices that align with my vision, saying no to the old way of business, to be open to new ideas that speak to my audience for their benefit. I’m saying YES to abundance, YES to investing, YES to trusting and including, YES to pivoting."
