Dr. Eduek Inyang, currently serves as the Interim Director of Oncology at Sanford Health, located in Bemidji, MN. Not only did Destiny take a leap of faith by moving across country from Tampa, FL to Bemidji, MN, after graduating from college in May 2019, but she utilizes her faith to spread positivity each day in an industry that sometimes can be viewed in a negative light. Destiny talks about ways she has been able to incorporate her faith in her daily life, and how she has grown in her trust in the Lord, over the past several months of being away from everything familiar to her. 

In this episode of Living Beyond Podcast, Ben & Silas Hess, recent high school graduates and multi-sport athletes talk about how they not only lead on the field and on the court, but they lead in sharing their faith with their peers. The Hess brothers, took the leap of faith to start an in-home movement called, "The Lord's Flock," which is a movement that encourages high school students to come together and take turns leading the in-home bible studies. Ben & Silas Hess both earned soccer scholarships to attend Colorado Christian University located in Denver, Colorado, starting this fall 2020.

In this episode, we will interview Coach Jim Stone, the Head Coach of the Bemidji State University Women's soccer program.  Entering his 18th season as head coach in 2019, Coach Stone is the winningest coach in Bemidji State University soccer history. Prior to his arrival in 2002, BSU had an overall record of 13-80-3. In the 17 seasons since, his BSU teams have accounted for over 92 percent (185) of the program's total victories (198), which includes a program record 18 wins (18-1-2) in 2018. Stone led the Beavers to their first national ranking and NCAA Division II Tournament appearance in 2017 and first win in the NCAA Division II Tournament in 2018, while the Beavers have missed the NSIC Tournament just one time in the last 13 seasons. Not only does Coach Stone lead a program that understands how to win, it's equally important the culture that has been created under his leadership which focuses on three pillars: love, faith, and hard work. Coach Stone is not only developing leaders on the soccer field, but he's developing leaders in life that will extend beyond their athletic careers. 

In this episode, we will interview, Coach Chelsea DeVille, the Head Coach for the women's basketball program at Bemidji State University, located in Bemidji, MN. Coach DeVille, graduated from Augustana College in 2009, where she was a four-year starter and letter winner for the Vikings, and earned North Central Conference Freshman of the Year laurels in 2006. A native of Watertown, South Dakota, DeVille, was a Miss Basketball South Dakota finalist, and two-time all-state selection as a prep. Along with being the head coach for the women's basketball program, Coach DeVille became involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) as a student athlete, and that experience led her to want to continue contributing to FCA in some way after she finished competing as a student athlete. After becoming the head coach at Bemidji State University, Chelsea became the student club advisor for the FCA on campus, and has seen the club grow from a few students meeting a couple times a month, to now having over 60 student athletes attending FCA meetings each week, throughout the school year, on campus. Coach DeVille has definitely used her platform of coaching in a way where she expands beyond basketball to help shape the lives of young women in her circle of influence.
