Every day I see some ad on social media talking about books, seminars and workshops promising to make us more successful. Many of these have some great advice that is worthy of our attention - but most of them miss the mark completely.

What’s the story of your life? At what time did you feel happiest? I ask authors in my book-writing program: What’s the most meaningful story you have to tell the world? I believe we all have experienced or learned something significant in life. We all have a story that, when shared, will be of value to the world. Your story not only deserves to be heard, in my opinion it's your moral imperative to get it out there.

In this episode I share my thoughts on sharing your story - whether you choose to write it down in a book, or just conversing with your coworkers at the watercooler. Your story is yours. How do you share it?

You’re the one that decides what your goals are, and how you align your priorities with those goals. You can go after them, or not. Too often we blame things outside of our control for not getting what we want.
