This week, I sat down with Tommy Port, a New York native who led Ritchie - my last guest - to Christ. Tommy grew up in Staten Island where the Gospel wasn't a part of his life. He had never even opened a Bible and his family used Jesus' name as a cuss word. It wasn't until life threw some curve balls: a life altering car accident that halted his semi pro hockey career and later a threat of divorce that Tommy started to lose hope. His life, as he knew it, would change forever if something didn't change. For the first time, he felt the urge to pick up the Bible and God's word spoke to him in a way that made him finally recognize his sin. Buckle up, ya'll because this one isn't just one story! Tommy shares about many other amazing things God has done in and through him as he has walked faithfully with the Lord.

This week I sat down with Ritchie Benitez. Ritchie spent 14 years addicted to cocaine while secretly working in the medical field in New York. A successful professional on the outside, but deeply broken on the inside, he lived a double life — dealing cocaine and searching for purpose. But everything changed when he met a co-worker who didn’t just talk about Jesus — he lived it out. Ritchie watched, questioned, and eventually found himself face-to-face with the gospel.

This episode tells the powerful story of how God used a faithful witness, the message of Billy Graham, and the relentless grace of Christ to deliver Ritchie from addiction and transform him into a man on mission. This week I speak with traveling Bible teacher, Mike Attwood. Mike was born in Leeds, England with a Roman Catholic background, but faith was nothing more than a routine in his family. By age 18, Mike was lost in drinking, smoking, and chasing the things of the world. It all seemed normal, until he met a girl who challenged him with the truth. What started as a pursuit for the wrong reasons led to a life changing encounter with the love of Christ. Mike has now been a devout Christian for 44 years, has been traveling the world since 1984 to spread the Good News, and also shares his faith and biblical truth through his YouTube channel, reaching others with the hope of Christ!

Welcome to Episode 2 of Season 2! I'm so glad to be back! In this episode, I talk about my move from Idaho to Canada! You heard that right, I moved! The Lord has been showing me a lot of similarities from my previous season of isolation to the one I am in now and I couldn't help but share the story He is currently writing. I pray that this episode gives you hope for the future if you're in a season of isolation as well as a reminder that the Lord's sovereignty is still at work in your life! Even if you can't see what's around the next bend of life, rest assured, you have a Father in Heaven who can see them all and can lead you through it!

Welcome to Season 2! I've felt for weeks that I should go in another direction on my podcast and episodes. I have been praying to God on how He would want me to move forward and boy did He answer in a BIG way. I am taking a step back from other people's stories and sharing my own personal stories in hopes to encourage others and showcase His glory. I'm starting this new season off with a personal testimony of how I lost my engagement ring! Even in my doubt, God was gracious enough to help me find it! This is definitely one you will want to listen to all the way through! God truly does the impossible!

Welcome to Episode 36! This week the Lord reminded me to stay in the present and not worry so much about the future. (Can't say I have never done that before!) I want to encourage you guys, myself included, that there is a season for everything. Whether you feel like God is moving on your behalf or not, you have to trust that He is! He isn't just there for us in the challenges we face, He is there in your every day routine equipping you for what's next. Don't spend so much time worrying about your future that you forget to enjoy the journey. Be present with Him in the now because you just might miss what He is trying to teach you for your future.

"Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." - Matthew 6:34

I might make some people mad in this one, but I will never shy away from the truth. If it doesn't make at least one person mad, then I wasn't being real enough.  I need to be better at truly discerning what God wants me to put out on these episodes so here goes nothing! Welcome to Episode 34! After another hiatus, I am back with a different kind of testimony! This week I talk with my friend Zechariah Taylor who I recently connected with at the Porch Boise. He has had quite the health journey and wanted to share in his struggles with physical health issues he went through for a number of years. He sheds some light on how God was able to get him through trials, even on his darkest days. He touches on some practical ways that we can apply to our daily lives to find commonalities that could bring us unwanted stress. If we aren't careful, these stressors can damage us not only physically, but spiritually as well.

Welcome to Episode 33! No guests this week which means I get to share what the Lord has put on my heart with you all! What better way to kick off the week than sharing the Gospel message of Jesus Christ? I have been so timid to share in the past thinking that I didn't have enough knowledge or wisdom, but God calls us to share the Good News, so here I am! Studying Romans 1 over the weekend, the apostle Paul speaks BOLDY and proudly about the Good News. He wasn't ashamed of the Gospel and neither should we. How will people know about Jesus if we don't share and show who He is with others? I pray that this episode gives you a fresh start, a new faith, a boldness to share, and a heart ready to receive what Jesus is speaking to you.
