Living Church

When life seems to be falling apart, and the pressures are intense, know there is hope. There is help. There is fuel for living Christ in the midst of the intense struggle. Over the next couple months we’re going to look at a first century letter written to a group of first century Christians. In this letter is an address, and inside this address help is found. When life starts falling apart, inside this address there is hope. Inside this address marriages can be restored, broken families can thrive, husbands and wives can like each other, and even love each other - selflessly. Inside this address is freedom from your need for approval and attention, freedom from the never ending struggle of feeling like you’re never good enough. And...inside this address is the fuel for followers of Jesus to live for Jesus in a world in need of Jesus. All this is found INSIDE this one address. If you look for this address outside you won't find it. It’s not located outside. It's inside. Inside someone. This address is located INSIDE OUT.

What if you walked into your living room this morning and Jesus was sitting there? What would you say? What would He say? Join us as we take a look at people who encountered Jesus when He walked the earth and listen into what they said and asked. More importantly, we'll listen to what Jesus said to them and to us. We'll see that when we bare our soul to Him there's often so much more than meets the eye.

One of the last things Jesus told His disciples was "make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). Jesus consumed His life with making new disciples, lived His life among them, and gave His life for them. Now He expects those who follow Him to do the same. Two thousand years ago on a mountainside Jesus looked His made disciples in the eyes and told them to go make ANOTHER ONE. This became their mission and that's exactly what they did. They made another one, and another one, and another one. They traveled the world out of love for their Savior to make ANOTHER ONE. They lived their lives to make ANOTHER ONE. Now it's our turn. Jesus looks us in the eye and He tells us to do the same. How are we doing with what Jesus has asked of us? Are we making disciples? Are you? If you claim to follow Christ you will make disciples of Christ. He said that if you love Him you'll do what He's asked (John 14:15). So, if you claim to love Christ you will make disciples of Christ. Made disciples make new disciples. It's all about making ANOTHER ONE. Join us for 1+1= Another One as we look into what it takes to follow Jesus making disciples of all nations. It's our turn, and our mission to make ANOTHER ONE.
