  • In God We Trust :: Week 3
    Every four years our country centers its focus on who will lead us. Important questions regarding policy, vision and direction are discussed and debated. In generations past, God was part of this discussion. Lately, it seems God is relegated to end of the line, nothing more than an addendum at the end of a speech: “And God Bless America.” But it wasn’t always like that. Our country has a rich heritage of dependence upon God (In God We Trust). In this series we’ll see that the most important question is not what party you belong to, but Who you invite to the party. There is still hope for our nation but it begins by acknowledging our dependence on God.

  • God I Don't Like THis :: Week 4
    Let's be honest, there are times we don't like what God does. There are times when what God allows to happen doesn't make sense to us. Those times are hard and painful and often leave us asking questions like "Why" or "How long, God?". Have you been there? If not, you will be at some point in your journey. So, what do you do when you don't like what God is doing? That's the question we'll be answering in our next teaching series, "God I don't like this." On April 28th we'll begin looking into a powerful book tucked away in the Old Testament called Habakkuk. Habakkuk doesn't like what God is allowing. He doesn't like what God is doing, so he dialogues with God about things. As we listen in on this dialogue we'll discover what to do when we don't like what God is doing. Enjoy "God, I don't like this."
