Often we have trouble trusting in the Lord and his book of truth because we tend to compare it to trusting mankind and things of the world.  Those things will often let us down but our Father in Heaven is trustworthy, he never lies and his scriptures are true and stand strong.  The Bible tells us to trust in the Lord, it is high time we start doing that.

It has been said that your "comfort zone" is your dead zone.  This means that sometimes when we get comfortable, we tend to get complacent, thus limiting what we can do in our own lives and in the Kingdom.  We must make moves with intention, and step out of that comfort zone.

Matther 7:15-23
John Ellington and guest Michael Ramos speak of the scripture relating to wolves in sheep's clothing within the church and how they mislead and turn people away from Christ.  You can always identify if something is of God by the fruit it produces.  We must listen to all, and compare with the truth, which is the Bible.

We take a look at Genesis chapter 22.  We focus on vs. 10-13 where God shows up to intervene right at the last minute.  We look at how this affects us today and is a test of our faith in Christ.  How many times has God shown up to intervene in your life's problem right at the last minute?  How was you faith standing in that time?  Has your faith improved, knowing that he always shows up, even if it is the last hour?  Have you learned and grown stronger in faith because of this?

This is the testimony of a Brother in Christ, Mr. David Nelson.  David tells of a childhood tragedy, the brutal death of his Father, in a senseless act of violence.  David tells how God was ever-present and brought him to where he is today.

As we move into the latest trend of "The New Normal" let us be reminded of what God calls normal, and how many times we have started a new normal.  Let your new normal begin with Christ and the book of truth at the center of all you do.
