So many times we attempt to hide and cover our own shame—shame from our mistakes that we have made and shame of things that may have happened to us. We try to cover them ourselves because we have convinced ourselves that we are abnormal or that it’s so bad, even God cannot forget. We are going to take a look at a few examples of how people in the Bible tried to cover their shame but the cover did not remove their guilt. The cover only hid it from their sight. We will see that when we try to cover our shame, the cover never stays secure, and the shame manages to reveal itself periodically. We never fool God—only ourselves.

The good news is that God is here to help us to remove our shame from past mistakes and traumas so we can be free!

All the signs concerning the end time and the rapture of the church are increasing daily.

Many people argue over the interpretation of the scriptures concerning the end time, the rapture of the church, and the Great Tribulation.

We all have to agree the time of the coming of the Lord and the end of times is upon us.

“This is what we were warned about in the book of Revelation. It is ‘the mark of the beast!’ If you refuse to take it, you will not be able to buy or sale if you do take it, you will be damming your soul.”

The question that has been in the minds of the followers of Christ has been the same since 30 A.D. and even the big question for the last 2000 years is when the end of time is and when is the Millennium? That question being on the lips of Christians is now the foremost concern in the church today. There are many variations of the answer coming from the church and religious leaders, especially when prophecies are being fulfilled rapidly.

The most important answer is “Jesus will return and the resolve to these questions will be answered, and everything will be fulfilled.”

I. TIME AS WE KNOW IT WILL COME TO AN END

B. I believe the answer to the question “Has God’s end-times clock begun?” The answer is “YES” God’s end times clock has begun to tick.

C. We must identify two crucial terms.

1. The first term is “end times”, which refers to God’s prophetic timetable.

2. The second term is “the 70th Week” which refers specifically to the final seven years of this era of human history.

Many Christians do not understand that there is a difference between denial and standing in faith. Denial causes depression, anxiety and fear. Standing in faith requires a true revelation that God really has our best interest in mind—even when our trial is taking a long time to resolve itself.

Truly placing a circumstance in God’s hands means that there will be peace and joy—no matter what is happening. We have the power to change our minds about our circumstances. And we must trust God to help us through our trials.

Denying a problem only makes the problem bigger and harder to resolve. Pride and fear may cause a person to deny there is a problem. If there is a noise in your car’s engine, it must be fixed. Turning up the radio or ignoring the noise hoping it goes away will only make the problem more costly to fix.

Christians often ignore problems sincerely thinking they are in faith. But if they are secretly dealing with depression and anxiety, then they are probably in denial. Some are too ashamed or too religious to admit there is a problem and that they need help. Many times they don’t feel there is anyone they can turn to for help because they don’t want to appear weak or unspiritual.

As the problem is denied, the consequences for the denial grow bigger every day.

You must learn how to constructively confront difficult situations and seek God for the answer. If you are not a confronter, then you must also ask God for the grace (the power) to confront and the help you need to walk through your situation.
