Living Faith Christian Church: Messages, Studies, & Stories

Jesus wants us to welcome people into church.

Christian welcome is part of what makes church…church.

Since church is the people of God, organized by God, to worship God, he wants every person interested in worshipping him to feel at home doing that.

Jesus is Risen! Have no doubt about it.

·    If you walked in here today with some doubts about the resurrection, my goal is to eradicate those doubts before you leave.

·    If you are listening, and you are already a believer in Jesus, my aim is to strengthen your faith in the resurrection even more than it is now.

Jesus accomplished God’s will. The crucifixion of Christ was no accident.

·    It wasn’t controlled by the religious leaders who falsely accused him.

·    It didn’t happen just because the crowds yelled “Crucify him!”

·    It wasn’t executed simply by the authority of Pontius Pilate.

This Easter season, we have a special opportunity to experience God’s ancient story of redemption through Christ in the Passover event. This presentation is designed to provide an enriching event that will disciple, educate, and deepen your faith.

This Passover Seder will be presented by Jews for Jesus, an organization of missionaries that are Jewish believers in Jesus, and they are eager to share the Passover with churches like ours.

In this passage, we are going to see 3 reasons why he is a different kind of king, a king of love.

Though the verses are about something that happened long ago, about how he announced his rule, they do give us 3 insights into what kind of ruler he is now.

Enjoy individual messages from 2024 from our Pastors. While these sermons are not part of a Message Series they tie together as a great study tool.

At Living Faith Christian Church in Farmingdale NY

Today is a special worship service focused on baptism and communion.

• Though I will spend some time teaching about baptism and explaining communion from the Scriptures, there will not be a typical sermon from me today.

• In addition to that teaching and explaining, we are going to pray, sing, hear testimonies, witness baptisms, and receive communion.

Who are you letting drive your life?

At times we can let worry, fear, anxiety, stress, depression, or even anger into the driver seat of our lives.

And let me tell you those things aren't good drivers.

Don’t let anyone drive you around but Jesus.

We will also be reading today from:

Philippians 4:5-7

Today’s passage has some very clear words from God for us when we feel let down by him. Here’s what I am to do today.

5 principles to follow when you feel God has let you down

5 directions for us when we are disappointed with him

Resist compartmentalized Christianity – Fight the inclination in your own heart to separate your life into different areas where you think of Jesus as Lord over some but not others.

Don’t check off your spiritual box in church, and then think you can do whatever you want in your family life, or at work, or with your friends.

Battle the desire in your heart to carve out some of your life that Jesus isn’t in charge of.
