Acts 20 | Tuesday Night Bible Study
Mark 1:29-34 | We live in a selfish world and bring that into our faith. But, moving from faith to follower means leaving selfish behind. Followers of Jesus are called to exchange selfish for service. When we do, God can use the change in us to impact others.
Matthew 19:16-30 | The Bible teaches God’s grace is free for those who repent and put their faith in Christ as Savior and Lord. But it also says there is a cost to being a disciple. Faith in Jesus as Savior is free. Following Jesus as Lord is not.
John 6:60-71 | Moving from faith to follower of Jesus Christ calls for a commitment. However, life and people have a way of changing. Your salvation never expires. But there are times the decision to follow must be renewed.
Pastor Ed sits down with Pastor Nehru Grant at Living Hope Christian Church in Bellerose, Queens.
Matthew 16:5-12 | Have you ever spent time searching for something only to later learn it was right in front of you all the time? If you are going to follow Christ, you need to take time to look around and see what God has already done. If you don’t, you could miss the miracle he has done or is about to do.
John 3:22-30 | Our world celebrates self-promotion perhaps more than ever before. But this creates a problem. It is hard to follow when you are the one in front. You can only follow Christ from behind. Followers of Christ are called to be less so Christ will be more.
