Just as the Jews of the first century were guilty of relying on morality, religion and circumcision for their right standing with God - so too there is a danger for children growing up in a Christian home to substitute externals for the internal life-change that can only occur through true faith in Christ.

We all love our children, and we want them to follow in the way they should go; but sometimes we get sidetracked by our own hopes and dreams for them. We want to consider general principles of God's Word in order to maintain a God-centered home and avoid the trap of the child-centered home.

Fruitfulness is one of the many blessings for those who are truly united with Christ.

We easily forget the promises of Christ who will never leave us nor forsake us.

When we are anxious, worried, or feeling alone, the promises of Jesus bring us peace and comfort.

Our comfort in a troubled world comes from Jesus, who has prepared a home in heaven for us. Will you be there?
