Paul's arrival in Jerusalem brought consternation for the Jewish believers there. Because it was widely believed that through his teaching he was actually undermining the Judaism, James and the elders in the city asked Paul to engage in some very "Jewish" acts to make it clear that Paul himself was a Torah observant Jew. Were these leaders right to ask Paul to do this? Was Paul right to agree?

Paul felt compelled to go to Jerusalem but was that conviction from the Spirit or just his own desires? He was warned again and again that going there would end in his arrest.
