The Holy Spirit:

-- helps us tell people about Jesus. (Mk. 13:11; Lk. 12:12)

-- is our comforter, advisor, encourager, and strength. (Ps. 143:10; Jn. 14-16; Acts 9:31; 13:2; 15:28; 1 Cor. 2:9-10; 1 Jn. 5:6-8)

-- convicts of sin and helps us die to sin. (Rom. 8:2; Jn. 16:7-11; 1 Thess. 1:5)

-- gives us the spirit of adoption and confirms in our spirits that we are God’s children. (Rom. 8:15-16)

-- gives us spiritual gifts. (1 Cor. 12)

-- sanctifies us so that we live in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (Gal. 5)
