As we enter into the Advent season, we’re beginning a new series titled The Names of Jesus. Throughout this series, we’ll explore the different names Scripture gives Him—names that reveal His character, His mission, and the hope He brings. This week, we start with the most central name of all: Jesus. We’ll look at what this name means, why it matters, and how it points us to the salvation He came to bring.
As we wrap up The Way of the King: Words to Build a Life On, we’re reminded that Jesus doesn’t just give us wise teachings—He speaks with the authority of the King Himself. His words call us to a new way of life, a new foundation, and a new identity shaped by His kingdom. Our prayer is that these weeks in the Sermon on the Mount would lead us to trust Him more deeply, follow Him more faithfully, and build our lives on the only foundation that lasts.
In our series The Way of the King: Words to Build a Life On, today’s message is titled Building Our Lives on the Rock. From Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 7:24-27, we’ll look at what it means to not just hear His words but put them into practice—forming a life with a foundation strong enough to stand through every storm.
In our series The Way of the King: Words to Build a Life On, today’s message is titled We Need Jesus. From Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 7:13-23, we’ll explore why following Him is essential for life that truly lasts—and how living in His way, rather than the world’s way, reveals the heart of our faith.
In our series The Way of the King: Words to Build a Life On, today’s message is titled Asking, Receiving, and Reflecting Our Father. From Jesus’ words in Matthew 7:7–12, we’ll see how our approach to prayer reveals our trust in God’s goodness—and how receiving from Him shapes the way we treat others.
In our series The Way of the King: Words to Build a Life On, today’s message is titled Seeing Clearly. From Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 7:1-6, we’ll explore what it means to see clearly—removing the logs from our own eyes before judging others, and learning how wisdom and discernment guide the way we relate to others and live out our faith.
In our series The Way of the King: Words to Build a Life On, today’s message is titled Treasures and Trust. From Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 6, we’ll explore how where we place our treasure reveals where we place our trust—and how true security is found in living for God’s kingdom.
In our series The Way of the King: Words to Build a Life On, today’s message is titled The Disciples’ Prayer: The Best Posture for Effective Prayer. From Jesus’ words in Matthew 6, we’ll look at how the Lord’s Prayer teaches us the heart posture and priorities of those who truly seek the Father.
In our series The Way of the King: Words to Build a Life On, today’s message is titled Beware of Performative Righteousness. From Matthew 6:1–8 and 16–18, we’ll hear Jesus’ warning against practicing righteousness to be seen by others and learn what it means to live for the Father’s approval instead of people’s applause.
In our series The Way of the King: Words to Build a Life On, today’s message is titled Practically Pursuing Kingdom Righteousness. Looking at Matthew 5:21–48, we’ll explore how Jesus calls His disciples beyond outward obedience to a transformed heart that lives in step with the righteousness of His kingdom.
