Others win because they defeat something but then fail to finish, their winning merely self-centered triumph for distinction. At long last, they learn winning is a perverse attempt to touch the transcendent. Then there are yet others who set their heart on finishing and can only finish because they have been touched thoroughly by transcendent delight and favor. Play the long game. Live to finish.
