The season 1 finale is here, and my guest is an educator, former youth coach, my former co-host of the original Living in Fiction podcast, and my best friend, Daniel Contreras. Dan and I were pumped to talk about this movie because it's a childhood favorite for both us--The Mighty Ducks.

This week's guest is my former co-host of a different podcast by the same name, my friend of 20+ years, and Communication Director for the Diocese of El Paso, Fernie Ceniceros. For this, the penultimate episode of season one, Fernie chose the movie Major League. 

This week I'm joined by educator and former youth soccer coach, Chris Delehanty. Chris and I met during my leadership coaching program at Rice University where we became fast friends. We have another Will Ferrell film as Chris chose Kicking and Screaming for this week's movie. 

This week my guest is Chrissy Beltran from the Buzzing with Ms. B podcast, and we get our first animated movie of the season--Monsters University. I had a blast rewatching this movie and had even more fun discussing it with Chrissy. 

This week I am joined by one of my best friends who also happens to be a superb mental health specialist, Celeste Nevarez. Celeste called dibs on this movie very early on in the process, and I couldn't have asked for a better movie to chop up with her...this week, we're talking Talladega Nights.

On episode two of this season, I am pumped to have Dr. Erin Watley from McDaniel College as my guest. I have known Erin since grad school, and I always enjoy our conversations. This week, Erin chose Drumline for our movie to watch.
