Living in the Heights

Long-time Heights Libraries staff member Bill Rubin talks with Jessica Robinson, local history librarian, about his experience working for Heights Libraries. Bill shares some of his favorite memories of the library system, and also talks about the significant role that libraries play in the history of their evolving communities.

Jessica Robinson, local history librarian for Heights Libraries, introduces the Living in the Heights oral history project, encouraging residents of Cleveland Heights and University Heights to send in their stories so that they can be included in our new oral history archive and podcast.

During the 5th annual Harvey Pekar Comic Book Fest, community members and visitors shared their opinions of what makes the Heights so special and unique, along with some of their memories of our community.  We encourage all of our listeners to send us their fall memories of the Heights for future inclusion in this podcast.
