On our drive home from the work place, in from out of the World that is our mission field, we sometimes find ourselves struggling to grab hold of the peace of God. We sigh heavily trying to gain our composure. We try to shake the dust off our feet. We haven't necessarily done anything wrong while among the wolves, or maybe we have done something wrong, nonetheless, we want to find our way back to Gods presence. Jesus tells us
"...Ye are to wash one another's feet, for ! have given you an example, for ye should do what I have done to you. ...if ye know these things, happy are ye who does them. "John 13:14-15, 13:17
My prayers for us ain't no jibber iabber jam. I pray to help us restore our touch with God. These prayers are my washing the residue of the world off the feet of my brethren’s after you have been in but not of the world. On your ride, drive or walk home today take a listen. Be encouraged.
