Hello, Monday! Hello, Friend! After spending time with relatives over Thanksgiving isn't it amazing to think how gracious God is to us and to our extremely flawed families? Scriptures tell is that He gave grace to the flawed family bloodline of Jesus which includes ours too. Through Christ there is ALWAYS hope for God to do great things through our families no matter how sordid the generations before us. Genesis 19:30-38

Things are not always as they seem. That's why it's so important not to assume. (We all know what happens when we do that). And when you choose not to make assumptions, you are showing love. In this episode hear how to trust God to reveal truth to you like Joseph did when he thought Mary was unfaithful. Your perspective can change and you can also experience peace from giving people the benefit of the doubt. Again, remember that things are not always as they seem. Proverbs 3:5-6

If you find yourself obsessing over your plans for Thanksgiving this week let it go! Those fixated thoughts are warring for your attention so you can’t experience God’s activity in your life and what you have to be grateful for! Nothing is worth your awareness of Him and His love for you. Luke 10:38-42

It’s reeeealy hard to forgive yourself, huh? Memories of how we've hurt others are some of the greatest sufferings there is. BUT you are never without hope of restoration. God is ALWAYS willing to restore EVERYTHING back to you including the chance to begin again and your joy. I John 1:9

There are so many wonderful promises in the Bible that we can stand on. They also include a condition: doing our part. Today, we discuss our part of "pressing" in order to know God and where He says in the book of Hosea that "He WILL respond back to us." That's His part.

Do you have a difficult time relaxing? Does it have anything to do with being or not "feeling" like you have control? You can relax when you give up something you don't have like control. God is large and in charge so let Him do his job so you can do your job that He put you here to do. Psalm 115:3

Come on now, let's be honest. Do you have a hard time asking for and accepting help from people? What about from God? Today we discuss the misconception attached to the reluctance. Not asking for help isn't always about not being a burden. John 4:10
